From the time our kids are small, we grapple with what’s the best way to teach them about money - everything from spending, saving, earning to appreciating. How do we continue to handle money as our kids grow, go off to college and get their first jobs. How much money do we give them for college? Should they contribute toward their expenses? What is our obligation once they graduate? What if they move home after graduation – do we continue to support them or are they expected to contribute to their expenses? There’s no wrong or right way and every choice is personal to each family. But, how do other parents handle this?
