Temple Emanu-El is committed to lifelong learning for students of all ages. Topics in our Adult Education classes range from Jewish history, religion, and culture to parenting and personal growth.

Some classes venture beyond the traditional -- Lunch and Learn Torah Study with the Rabbi on the fourth Wednesday of each month offers an opportunity to discuss a wide range of relevant topics in an open forum. Introduction to Judaism is taught by our Rabbi, Dana Magat, along with Rabbi Melanie Aron of Shir Hadash, Rabbi Jamie Alpert of Congregation Beth David, and Rabbi Josh Berkenwald of Congregation Sinai. The course is designed for those interested in learning the basics (and more!) about Judaism. Fasts, Feasts, and Festivals: The Jewish Year is taught by TEE Congregant & Ritual Committee Chairman, Branden Frederick. This class explores and demystifies both the minor and major Jewish holidays, and looks how how prayers and food are integrated into the ceremonies and observances.

Classes start on Sunday, October 6th at 10:15am.
