We love incorporating music into our worship and programming at Temple Emanu-El! There are many ways to get involved musically. Under the direction of Cantor Leah Shafritz, we have choirs, bands, and other opportunities for Temple members to lead and participate in worship. Adult Choir
Our adult choir is an integral part of our High Holy Day services. They add vibrancy to the music you know and love, introduce new music to the congregation, and provide reflective moments in worship. The adult choir also sings at a handful of Friday night services throughout the year and participates in community choirs for interfaith events and the community Yom Hashoah observance.
Mazeltones Youth Choir
Featuring children 2nd grade through B’nai Mitzvah, the Mazeltones participate in family services throughout the year, join our adult choir at the High Holidays, and sing at other special events like our Purim Spiel. Cantor Shafritz is proud of this talented group of young singers who bring dedication and enthusiasm to all they do!
Teen Choir
Our teen choir is for Mazeltones who have “aged out” of the youth choir, or for teens who would like to be more involved musically at TEE! A new addition to our music programs, Cantor Shafritz is excited to continue to feature them during the High Holidays and throughout the year.
