Join us for the next in our Sunday Speaker series. Our presenter will be Larry Gerston, Professor Emeritus in Political Science at San Jose State University.  In addition, Larry Gerston is well known locally as an astute political analyst and voice of reasoned opinion. He appears twice weekly as the political analyst at NBC Bay Area television (channel 11) and has written 14 academic books, with the most recent, Trumpism, Bigotry and the Threat to American Democracy published in January 2024. Additionally, Larry is a member of our own Temple Emanu-El congregation.

Professor Gerston will share his thoughts on the upcoming election, at the national, statewide and local levels. So far, the process has taken many twists and turns, and it remains difficult to predict what we can still expect as we approach November. Larry’s thoughts and take on our political process are always highly informative and always presented with his unique brand of humor and sense of perspective.
