Clergy will join Docent Naturalists Nancy Weintraub, Anouchka Gaillard and Peter Maxwell to celebrate Tu B'Shvat the Jewish New Year of the trees at Skyline Ridge Open Space Preserve.  You’ll enjoy the views along the Ipiwa Trail as you hike through mixed woodland and chaparral on your way to a snack stop at Alpine Pond.  You’ll return along the Sunny Jim and Ridge Trails, with a stop at Horseshoe Lake. Meet promptly at 9:00 am to get your special parking permit in the equestrian parking lot of Skyline Ridge Preserve.

Parking will be at Skyline Ridge Open Space Main Parking (NOT the Equestrian or Accessibility Parking).  Turn RIGHT instead of LEFT entering the preserve parking areas (map here)

SAVE THE DATE:  Shabbat in Nature experience on April 1 at Purisima Creek Redwood Preserve (near Half Moon Bay). Clergy will join Docent Naturalists Nancy Weintraub, Liza Coe, and Rae Collins in this magnificent Redwood forest. We will begin with a forest bathing, and learn about the ecological zones within a single redwood tree, and ponder the resilience of plants and animals in our redwood forests.
