Join us for a springtime Shabbat in Nature.  Join Clergy and Docent Naturalists Nancy Weintraub and Helena Cohen to celebrate spring and back by popular demand visit Skyline Ridge Open Space Preserve on April 1 (no kidding!) from 9 am - 1 pm. You will enjoy a leisurely hike high above the valley and enjoy the many delights and spectacular views that nature has to offer.  You will explore Horseshoe Loop, Ipiwa and Sunny Jim Trails.  You'll learn a little about the different habitats, discover wildflowers and look for animals or their signs. Bring water, a snack or lunch and hiking poles. We will hike approximately 4-5 miles. Note that the Daniels Nature Center at Alpine Pond should be open so that will be another treat. Carpooling is encouraged since this is wildflower season and the trails are quite popular. If you are interested in carpooling with others, I can put you in touch with other registrants that might have space in their cars.
