Kever Avot is the custom of visiting the graveside of parents or close relatives and praying there. The theme of the prayers is peaceful eternal rest for the departed and an invocation for God's aid to the living by merit of the pious deeds of the deceased.

Please join us at Chapel of Roses for a service with Rabbi Magat and Cantor Shafritz. After this short prayer service, we will all proceed to Home of Peace Cemetery to pay respect and visit the graves of those who have passed away.

This important High Holy Days ritual and service is open to everyone in the community, whether you are a member of Temple Emanu-El or not. You are invited to partake in this ceremony and remembrance.
