The topic for discussion for the Great Questions Group will be Orthodox Christianity. We will explore the major theological tenets and cultural dynamics of that religion. The focus will be comparison of Orthodox Christianity to other Christian denominations and to Judaism. We will look at trends, both in the United States and worldwide, especially in Eastern Europe. Currently, there are divisions, that we will discuss, in the Eastern Orthodox Church, related to the war between Ukraine and Russia.

This is an ongoing group that meets once a month. Temple members are welcome to join us at any meeting. We discuss the Great Questions of Existence that we all ponder, through the lenses of religion, spiritual beliefs and philosophy. Often, we have representatives of various world religions present to, and enter into dialogue with, our group.
