12:30 PM - 2:00 PMOn Sunday May 2, 2021, from 12:30 p.m.-2:00 p.m, Temple Emanu-El is hosting a lecture via Zoom titled "George Segal, The Artist and His Art.” Segal (November 26, 1924 - June 9, 2000) was a Jewish-American painter and sculptor associated with the Pop Art movement.

We are pleased to have Sandy Gordon as our lecturer. After a successful career as a speech pathologist and audiologist, her love of art took her in another direction. She was the art history course coordinator for 19 years at Quest/City College of New York. Sandy has lectured at NYU, Osher, Elderhostel, (now Road Scholar), Chautauqua Institution and other venues.
