Freedom Concert

Saturday, January 16, 2021 3 Sh'vat 5781

7:00 PM - 9:00 PM

In our congregation, we share a desire to help all people become free. On January 16, 2021, we will honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and our commitment as a congregation to black lives and people of color, by holding a virtual Freedom Concert. We have invited some of the biggest names in Jewish music (Elana Arian, Michelle Citrin, Saul Kaye, Dan Nichols, and Cantor Natalie Young) to lift up their voices with ours, each offering their music and their hearts in songs of freedom. Kick off the concert with Havdallah with Rabbi Magat and Cantor Edmondson at 7PM. We hope that this concert will inspire you to donate what you can to the Religious Action Center (RAC) of Reform Judaism. This organization advocates for social justice across North America, and leads in the fight against racial injustice. The link to donate is on their website here:  rac.org. Havah nashira - let us sing for freedom!
