The hike will begin in the spacious parking lot off Mockingbird Lane off of Almaden Rd. The name of the park is Almaden Quicksilver  The trail distance will be about 6 miles- led by David Goldberg.  Much of the hike will be up steep climbs, as this is the most challenging hike to date.  (Trail details:  Viril Norton to Hacienda, to Mine Hill, to Cape Horn Pass, to Hacienda to parking lot).

Hikers are welcome to bring their own lunch/refreshments (leave them in their vehicles) for a post-hike picnic at tables shaded under trees.
