Join Jewish Family Services of Silicon Valley and HIAS to learn about the Jewish community response to the current refugee crisis from Ukraine to Afghanistan. Guest speaker Joe Goldman, Community Engagement Director for  the Western Region at HIAS will give a global, national and state level picture. Michelle Lee, JFS SV's Director of Refugee Resettlement will share what is being done locally to resettle and support refugees and newcomers here in Santa Clara County and  the greater Bay Area. There is so much we can do right here in Silicon Valley to help those seeking safety and self-sufficiency. This event is free and open the the community.
