Update April 14th: Santa Clara  County Opens Thousands of Additional Vaccine Appointments & Expands Eligibility
to All Individuals Age 16 or Older

Santa Clara County, CA – County of Santa Clara Officials announced today that a significant increase in vaccine supplies has allowed the County Health System to release tens of thousands of additional vaccine appointments over the remainder of this week. Many more appointments will be made available the following week. As a result of the expanded vaccine supply, the County is opening vaccine eligibility to all individuals age 16 or older who live or work in Santa Clara County effective today. Community members are encouraged to schedule vaccination appointments through the County’s website sccfreevax.org.

California will start vaccinating anyone 16 and over against the coronavirus starting in three weeks, expanding eligibility to the shots along with a host of other states as a long-awaited boost in vaccine supplies is in sight.

Gov. Gavin Newsom announced Thursday that the nation’s most populous state would start vaccinating anyone 50 and over in a week and the population more broadly — except those under 16, for whom vaccines have not yet been authorized — on April 15."

Santa Clara County Vaccination Information:  As of March 5th:

All County Health Vaccination Sites Are Currently Full. 

New appointments are not available at the current time due to lower than expected vaccine allocation from the State.  Please check this site regularly for updates  as new appointments will be added when additional vaccine supply becomes available.  Please continue checking for updated information at sccfreevax.org.


NEW VACCINE SITE: As of Feb. 23rd: 
Emmanuel Baptist Church is now open as a vaccine site. Currently, there is not a wait, but subject to change. This is a walk-in vaccination site, so no appointments are needed. This site is serving Santa Clara County residents who are 65 and older,  and healthcare workers too.
Open Tuesdays - Fridays, 9am to 3:30pm

The county now allows for anyone 65 and older to get vaccinated through Santa Clara County, regardless of healthcare provider. Please click here to book an appointment.
