Our Temple Emanu-El volunteer choir enriches the spiritual life of our congregation through song and prayer. Any Temple Emanu-El member may join. Our talented choir participates in several Shabbat services, special holiday services including High Holy days, and Shabbat Shira over the course of the year. We enjoy the accompaniment of a pianist, and periodically other instruments (cello, flute, violin, guitar, drums, etc). The High Holy Day choir is co-directed by Cantor Meeka Simerly and Michael Taylor. All voices are welcome as long as you are able to commit to rehearsals which typically begin several weeks before the service.
