The purpose of all of our temple youth groups is to provide opportunities for our children to interact with other Jewish kids in a relaxed setting outside of the Religious School classroom.

Junior Youth Groups

The junior youth groups, Kadima (grades 4 - 6) and Noar (grades 7 and 8) continue their trek through the Holy Land in our program ‘Passport to Israel’!

Throughout the year, the kids have a great time while learning more about the land of the Jewish people. As we ‘travel’ around the country having a blast, we integrate subtle lessons about Israel with corresponding activities; a swim party in Netanya, a resort town north of Tel Aviv, ice skating in Metula, near the Lebanon border where there is a world class ice rink and of course, several stops in Jerusalem for the history, religion and shopping!

For more information about our youth groups, contact the Religious School office.

EESY Senior Youth Group (9th – 12th Grades)

Temple Emanu-El Senior Youth group offers an opportunity for 9th-12th grade students of Temple Emanu-El to come together for social, ritual, and community service activities. With a full slate of activities organized by an active Youth-led board, teens stay connected and make friends while gaining leadership skills.
