Communities

At Temple Emanu-El, we join together in a lively, diverse community to make our Jewish heritage relevant to our lives in the 21st Century.  Temple Emanu-El offers its members warmth, community, and kesher (connection) with many opportunities to come together:  Holiday celebrations, religious education, life cycle events, social action, social activities, outreach to interfaith and non-traditional families, and cultural events are among the ways in which Temple Emanu-El enriches us personally and the community in which we reside.

Our active Men's and Women's Auxiliaries offer unique events, including Brotherhood's acclaimed Diaspora Dinner series and Sisterhood's Rosh Hodesh celebrations.  Our younger youth groups provide opportunities for our children to interact with other Jewish kids in a relaxed setting outside of the Religious School classroom.  Temple Emanu-El senior youth group offers our teens an opportunity to come together for social, ritual, and community service activities. Our Tikkun Olam community leads Temple Emanu-El involvement in social action.  And at Temple Emanu-El we believe it is important to stay connected to the broader Jewish Community.
